Do you wait and pray?
Or do you follow up until you get a firm “yes” or “no”?
Ed Gandia has an excellent blog post with seven steps to follow up on a prospect. However, I have a slight problem with Ed’s advice. Watch the video below to find out why:
Best Follow-up Practices
My take-away points from Ed’s post are:
- Follow up immediately after sending the proposal.
- Confidently ask for the work (do NOT ask, “Did you get my proposal?). Read Ed’s post for the exact words you should use.
- Follow up two more times every couple of days.
- Stay in touch with your prospect.
In this post, I’m the one asking for your advice this time. How do you follow up with your prospects? What suggestions do you have for me to improve my follow-up process?
Thank you in advance!
